NPSL National Finalists Apotheos FC Announce Silverbacks Park as Home Stadium for 2024 Season!
Atlanta’s first soccer specific stadium, Silverbacks Park, to be the new home for Apotheos FC. Today’s exciting announcement comes off the heels of a record breaking season where Apotheos FC won the NPSL Southeastern Conference Championship and NPSL South Region Championship before losing in penalty kicks to Tulsa Athletic in the National Premier Soccer League National Championship Game in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Apotheos FC makes the move to Silverbacks Park as part of the club’s ambitious plans to continue to grow in one of the hottest soccer markets in America.
Apotheos FC Co-Owner Anthony Catalano added his thoughts on the day’s big announcement, “As a co-owner of Apotheos FC, I am extremely excited for the move into Silverback Park and to the next chapter in our club's history. Silverbacks Park is a sports complex in Dekalb County, just outside Atlanta that includes a 5,000 season soccer specific stadium built in 2006. Silverbacks Park has hosted hundreds of professional soccer and rugby events including the 2013 NASL Soccer Bowl where over 7,000 fans watched the Atlanta Silverbacks play the New York Cosmos. In 2007, Reggie Bush and David Beckham filmed a commercial for Adidas at the park in which they try to teach each other to play soccer and American football, respectively.
